Post 39: Mr. IT

The Scene: Virtual Date

The Attire: Pops of color to reflect my mood (out, about, smiling and strolling)

The Meeting: This IT Guru and I met on the dating website, Bumble.com

The Environment: I had to abandon Match.com because well, let’s just say, unequally yoked matches. Back to Bumble.com, of all potential suitors, Mr. IT seemed the most normal, the most down-to-earth, the balanced.

Our Story: He and I have been communicating for several months, and our respective schedules coupled with my international travel created a wedge in our physical capabilities to connect.

So, we did, the next best thing … a virtual date!

It was surprisingly fun, upbeat, engaging. I found him to be charming, attractive, and articulate. We chatted like fast friends, and I was encouraged. He was generous with his compliments, highly self-aware and honest with his mistakes in life. It was refreshing and encouraging. It was that engagement which elevated my giddiness to connect with him live.

We bid one another ado with a date and time scheduled for Date #2

 Stay tuned.

Note to Self: Stay open to all possibilities.

Shout Out to Men: Be open to create beyond traditions.

Question: How much are you willing to flex for someone new?Note to Self: Life is short; share your heart.

Shout Out to Men: Be authentic; it will take you far.

Question: How long do you need to know someone to feel connected and to create trust?
